Wednesday, December 21, 1960
A nice day. I done a little cooking. Kennard called. He and
Delores are leaving tomorrow to go to Massachusetts for the holiday.
Thursday, December 22, 1960
A very nice day, on the cold windy side. I washed, churned
and washed the kitchen curtains. I ironed also. Raymond’s cows went today. One
of the heifers came over here. Had a Christmas party where Billie worked.
Kennard and Delores went up to Brud’s today.
Friday, December 23, 1960
A very nice day. Very cold. It was 10 below this morning. I
cleaned up the whole house today. Made two kinds of fudge. Betty home tonight
from school for the Christmas vacation. They had Christmas parties etc. at
school. Bill, Betty and I down to town tonight Christmas shopping. Got cards
from Mike today. Storm windows came today. Betty has been home all the time
these holidays which I’m real glad. Sears package came.
