Sunday, June 11, 1961
Cold East wind. Mr. McAllister came and put some more shoes
on Phantom. Kids gone to car races. Billie had to work tonight.
Monday, June 12, 1961
A fair day. Quite on the warm side. I washed, clothes dried
good. Betty and Mike up late, went to town. Came home for supper. Got ready,
went to Naples with Mrs. Parker to Merle Chaplin’s going away party. Mike
stayed at his grandmother’s. Betty stayed at Irene’s. I churned. Aunt Ava and
Blanche Sawyer called.
Tuesday, June 6, 1961 HOT HOT.
A very hot day. I ironed. Cooked. Joy and Buddy and
girls came. I had the lamb to out today.
Wednesday, June 14, 1961 Kennard and Kennie’s birthday
Cold. A cloudy, cold dreary day. I cleaned up the house,
made of pudding. Linda here at supper. She and Betty took a ride. Betty took
her home after supper. Bob, Blanche, Joy, Buddy and the two girls called after
supper. Billie down to see Hayd.
