Dawn, the President, cuts the ribbon |
I did a big wash. So as not to have to wash tomorrow. Dorothea and Dave came up about 10 o’clock. I went up to the shelter for open house. It was quite a good day, a few early-morning sprinkles. At the open house they had a lot of people, sold all their food and a lot of the rummage. Also over $300 on donations. At about suppertime we had the backyard cookout. Thomases, Hortons, Wolffs, Ragers and Deming also Richard and Yates. I got a lot of nice gifts as usual. And a nice brand-new lawn swing chair. I appreciate all the things they do.
