Friday, November 29, 1957
A rainy day. I wrote to Dorothea and Dennis, got their
Christmas packages wrapped and mailed. Delores called and Raymond. Dolores
helped to wrap them. Bill packed the big box. Albert (?) Belise called. Bill
hunted. He and Raymond hunted too. To town before supper.
Saturday, November 30, 1957
Rained hard all day. Dark. I churned and cooked. Lloyd and
Uncle Os called. Didn’t sleep too well last night, lame in chest.
Sunday, December 1, 1957
Cleared off in night, cold and windy. Very cold today. Did
regular work. In p.m. Raymond called. Kennie and Dot in a.m., Fern, Lloyd,
Sally, Gordon and children, Aunt Ava and Uncle Lewis all called in p.m. Bill,
Betty and I over to Bob and Blanche is in the evening to get a dress. Billie’s veal
calf went tonight $35. A little snow on ground this morning.
Monday, December 2, 1957
A very cold, windy day. I washed, my machine ringer on the
blink. Bill fixed it. Bill downtown looking for work. In evening he went down
to Pete McAllister’s. Blanche and I went to B. H. S. fall concert in evening.
Very good.
