A cloudy day, but I washed.
Donnie better today. It cleared off in late p.m. and showers too. Betty down to
Jill’s in evening.
Tuesday, July 24, 1956
Ironed. Kennard down in
evening. Sally up in evening. I did some cooking. Donnie better.
Wednesday, July 25, 1956
A good day except we get
some showers in p.m. In forenoon Sally Weymouth, Betty Cross and I went over to
Jim’s and picked strawberries. Kennard called in a.m. Got a letter from
Dorothea. Donnie lot better.
Thursday, July 26, 1956
Bill worked tonight a
little while after supper at Jim’s. I washed today and cooked. Bill finally got
his money from Robert for a job he done at one of the camps.
Friday, July 27, 1956
A nice day, on the cool
side in first half of day. I cleaned up the house. Went over to the doctors in
evening. Bought some peas. Betty came home from Kay’s tonight. I ironed.
