A nice day. I cooked and churned. Mrs. Emma Wheeler came up
and spent the day. Kennie and Dot up in evening. Bill called Twitchell tonight.
Thursday, September 25, 1958
A very nice hot day. I done up the work and odd jobs. Mama
up to Dorothy Prescott’s all day. Bill and I over to Twitchell’s after supper.
Bill bought a hot-water furnace off him. He came over and bought ours. Calf
born. Fogg cow.
Friday, September 26,
1958
A very nice hot day. I walked over to Raymonds and got some
shell beans in a.m. Evelyn called this p.m. Bill and I went to the bank.
Saturday, September 27, 1958
A cold cloudy rainy day. Rained hard at night. Bill home all
day. He got the old furnace ready to move. They took it to Twitchell’s and brought
the other one back. Betty to movies.
