Blanche. A nice day. I didn’t go to town tonight.

Monday, October 9, 1961 Very warm sunny
A nice sunny warm day. I churned and washed. Betty rode her
horse. Mike hunted for a little while. In p.m. they wrote out the thank you
notes. Billie fixed a sore on the cows knee. I went to town. Bill took Mr. and
Mrs. Mike Boutilier to Auburn after supper. Mike is a very nice boy. We all
like him very much. I hope he and Betty will be happy.
