Cooked. Bill and Billie went to Harrison, got grain and
groceries. Bill to work.
Sunday, April 14, 1946
Bill and Billie finished up the big pile of hen dressing out
back, raked up around the buildings. Fern and Lloyd called in late p.m. Nice
day.
Monday, April 15, 1946
Warm but cloudy and rainy. Bill didn’t go to work, he and
Billie hauled dressing and Bill went down to Charlie’s to get fills for cart.
Murray came. $50.
Tuesday, April 16, 1946
Very cold and windy. Done a little work. Bea Larrabee
operated on today for breast cancer.
Wednesday, April 17, 1946
Cleaned Dorothea’s room. Nice day. Washed floors and ironed
curtains.
Thursday, April 18, 1946
Fair and nice and warm. I cleaned Billie’s room, my room,
and dark bedroom. Kennard and Dolores called in eve.
Friday, April 19, 1946
Fair and cold and windy. We cleaned Mama’s room, Milan’s
room, close (?) press today. Billie hauled manure.
