Saturday, February 4, 1956
Fair in morning. I did up
work, went to town, and came home and cooked. Dorothea down to Barbs. She fixed
up her hair, it looks good. Billie over to Raymond’s to work in p.m. It began
to snow in the evening. Terrie Moffitt over here with Betty in p.m. Dorothea
and kids went to movies.
Sunday, February 5, 1956
A very nice day, it cleared
off about daylight. Bill had to get up and go to work early to plow snow. Fern
and Lloyd here in p.m. Bill worked till 2 PM. Billie up to Chet’s. Dorothea over
to Aunt Ava’s and Uncle Lewis’s for the day. She gone to the movies with Carl Ridlon
tonight.
Monday, February 6, 1956
A nice day. I went with
Bill this morning, got my hair done, a permanent. In p.m. I got Donnie’s
haircut. I came home from town and washed.
Tuesday, February 7, 1956
Bill called out during
night to plow. Get about 10 to 12 inches of heavy snow. Today Bill and I, Pete
McAllister and Edith went to Portland with Dorothea and Judy to give our
consent to go into the service. A very bad snowy day.
