Very nice day. Bill had to go to work early this morning.
They did spraying with the planes. He had to go up to help direct traffic. Billie
worked. In p.m. Bill and I went downtown and bought the new rug. Painted the
dining room floor. A very bad rain at night. Some lightning and showers. Kennie
and Raymond upcountry to go fishing.

Nice day but windy. Mama and Betty up to Waterford and
Stoneham with Aunt Ava and Uncle Lewis.
Bill and I went down to the cemetery. I washed and cooked. Robert laid the new
kitchen rug.

A nice day, windy. Vernie harrowed the garden. Rita called.
Bill went early this morning but it was too windy and they couldn’t spray so
came back. Virgins and two grandchildren called today. Billie put on the
screens.
