Went down to Fern’s, she shortened my new coat. Fair day.
Bill, Lloyd and Billie cut and wrapped meat.
Sunday, January 2, 1955
Snowed. Bill had to work all p.m. til into evening. Raymond
called in the evening.
Monday, January 3, 1955
We washed, nice day. Billie and I went to town, he got a new
work jacket and other clothes. He sold a Guernsey cow and a veal calf to
Lawrence Boynton. He and I went over to Jim Chadbourne’s and Dr. Newths also.
Tuesday, January 4, 1955
Fair most of day. Billie worked. Delores called. I ironed.
Es, Cliff and Susan started for Maine today.
Wednesday, January 5, 1955
Cleaned the kitchen up. Nice day. Betty gone to movies with
Blanche.
Thursday, January 6, 1955
Did up the work. Billie worked at Lawrence’s. Washed
clothes.
Friday, January 7, 1955
I washed floors and windows, also waxed them. Very cold and
windy and blustery. Es, Cliff and Susan came today.
