Cold. I did up the housework, cooked, cut down the bamboo
etc.
Friday, October 28, 1955
Very nice warm day. Went for a ride up to Cold River and
around over Fryeburg way with Aunt Ava and Uncle Lewis. Billie got two more
head of cattle today, a Guernsey heifer and Holstein.
Saturday, October 29, 1955
Very nice warm day. I cleaned up the house, cooked, went to
town. Mrs. Lowell called. Got furnace oil today. Esther came home from the
hospital today.
Sunday, October 30, 1955
Cloudy and cold. We moved the deep freeze down cellar.
Billie worked in tie up. Bill cleaned the kitchen stove burners. Jill up today.
Monday, October 31, 1955
Washed. Billie home today and worked on the tie up. It
rained. Betty had a Halloween party here tonight. We got the pork back tonight,
cut and wrapped for deep freeze.
Tuesday, November 1, 1955
Churned. Billie home again today because of the rain.
