Saturday, December 3, 1955
Fair. Busy all day. Had to go to town in a.m. Worked all
p.m. Bill went over and got his haircut. Billie helped Raymond to finish getting
his wood. Terrie, Betty and Jill went skating. Dorothea left Starrs and her
college career today for good.
Sunday, December 4, 1955
Cloudy. Bill went down to the camp helping Lloyd and Robert
in a.m. Bill down to town to work on snowplows and sand. It snowed about 3
inches. An early morning chimney fire at Jim Chadbourne’s.
Monday, December 5, 1955
A fair day. Washed and churned. Billie worked up to Chet’s.

Tuesday, December 6, 1955
Churned. Cleaned up the house, washed floors. Nice day,
awful cold. Went to Portland airport at night to meet Dorothea, she came from Brud’s.
Mama, Bill, Betty, Donnie and I went. Billie began work at Lawrence’s today.
