Bill, kids and I downtown in eve. Nice day. Cleaned up the
house.
Sunday, July 25, 1948
Nice clear day. Bill’s mom and dad here for dinner. Picked
half bushel peas.
Monday, July 26, 1948
Washed. Cloudy. Picked bushel peas. Milan and Betty called in
eve.
Tuesday, July 27, 1948
Phil mowed. Canned 4 pints of peas. Ironed. Hot today.

Bill home, we hayed. Roger Crook came today from Canada.
They called on us in eve.
Thursday, July 29, 1948
Bill worked today. Nice day. He and I went down to Jean’s in
eve to see Roger Crook.
Friday, July 30, 1948
Nice day. We canned 7 quarts string beans.
