Tuesday, October 31, 1961
Cloudy again today. I washed. Sent letter to Milan and
Esther, also sent Bridgton news and announcement. I found a (?) play-mo-bile
for Esther. I washed windows inside and out upstairs. Took the screens off.
Betty out for Halloween.
Wednesday, November 1, 1961
Cold. Nice and sunny in morning, clouded up some and on the
windy side. Some sun. I ironed, done a little cooking etc. Went over to Lovell
and East Fryeburg with Fern, Lloyd and Os to look for some hens. Sally and Jean
called in p.m.
Thursday, November 2, 1961
Cold. Not so windy. I churned, went for a ride with Fern and
Lloyd and Os still looking for pullets. Went over to Paris Hill, back down to
Oxford, on down to Mechanic Falls. He bought 20 pullets. Betty got a letter
from Mike was $60 in it.
Friday, November 3, 1961
Warm again, partly cloudy. I cleaned up the house, to town
in evening.
