Saturday, November 4, 1961
Cloudy, drear. Warm high temperatures. I cooked in a.m., in
p.m. I washed all the windows and storm windows. Bill, Billie got the windows
on. Betty and Bill to Norway in p.m. Art Ward called, Aunt Ava and Uncle Lewis.
Betty away with Jane. Betty got another letter from Mike. Got cards from Es.
Billie has had his tonsils all out.
Sunday, November 5, 1961
Cloudy, high temperatures. Done up the work. Bill, Billie
put dressing between strawberry plants. Betty didn’t come home last night. Came
in late p.m. Kennard, Kennie, Dot, Aunt Ava and Lewis called. Billie, Betty and
I at Fern and Lloyds in evening.
Monday, November 6, 1961
Rain. I didn’t wash. I churned. Betty didn’t do much today.
Expected Mrs. Parker to call after school.
Tuesday, November 7, 1961
Rained. I washed, looked over some catalogs etc. Rowena
called in late p.m., got Betty, took her down to her house.
