June 22 - 25, 1958



Sunday, June 22, 1958

Bill painted the side of the barn and finished the trim on the red barn. We picked 2 quarts strawberries. I wrote my letters. Fern and Lloyd called and Aunt Ava, Uncle Lewis and Raymond. I got $15 from Mary Saxby for cleaning her cottage.

Monday, June 23, 1958

A very nice day. I washed, clothes dried good. I washed the kitchen windows inside and out. Betty up to Dawn’s all day to a cookout. I called over to Aunt Linnie’s in evening. Billie and Chet down to Falmouth today for load of pigs.



Tuesday, June 24, 1958

A very nice hot day. I done up the work. Went over and worked for Mrs. Rushmore $8.75. Bill and I picked 12 quarts strawberries after supper. Took them down to Ferns, she sold them. I got $15 from Seevers.



Wednesday, June 25, 1958

A nice day, hot. I worked for Mrs. Rushmore, cleaned her cottage. Sally and Gordon called.
