A very windy day, I worked for Mary Saxby cleaning. I got $8.75 for seven hours work.

Thursday, June 19, 1958

Another nice day. I went to work for Priscilla Rushmore $15. I fried donuts. Betty up to Dawn’s. Fern and Lloyd up calling in evening.

Friday, June 20, 1958

Dorothea and Dennis married nine months today. It was cloudy and rainy today. Bill didn’t work. He and I went to town. Called at Dawn’s. Betty did her work at the cottage. Kennard called. Norma Wildberger called here in p.m.
