Saturday, June 14, 1958

A very windy day, clear and sunny. I cooked after power came back on. Off because of heavy winds. Kay went home today. Betty went down with her. Came home and upstairs reading, looking over things upstairs. Boys 57.

Sunday, June 15, 1958

Another heavy windy (day). Bill painted back of house. Billie fixed turkey pen. We got setting hens ready to set.

Monday, June 16, 1958

Another windy day. Betty to town. Bought me a box of chocolates. I washed. Got very cold in p.m. Edith and Justin called in evening, also Jean, Sally and girls brought up eggs to set under hens. I did some ironing. SET HENS.

Tuesday, June 17, 1958

Nice and clear in a.m. Clouded up in p.m. and cold. I cleaned at Mary Saxby’s cottage today. Bill painted some tonight. Betty done work today.
