Cloudy and rained by showers. We picked 41 boxes of berries today. Letters from Dorothea and Esther. Kay here tonight.

Friday, June 27, 1958

I did some cooking, pick some berries. In afternoon I went to town. Betty down to Dearborn’s cottage to clean. Also up to Dawn’s.

Saturday, June 28, 1958

A very nice day, hot too. We picked a lot of berries. Kennard called. Also Blanche, Bob, Hyla and sister-in-law for a cookout. First one this year.

Sunday, June 29, 1958

A very hot day. We picked over 100 quarts of berries. Kennie and Dot called. Bobby, Raymond and Blanche. Billie mowed up to Chet’s today for first time.
