Monday, October 28, 1957

I washed early. Oil man fixed range oil tank. I cleaned grain room, top of barn. Betty better today. Today we had a nice anniversary gift from Dorothea and Dennis.

Tuesday, October 29, 1957

Cloudy in a.m. In p.m. clear seasonable temperatures. I didn’t do much except iron. Betty down to Dawn’s all day. Dawn came up and brought her home.

Wednesday, October 30, 1957

A fair day. Betty back to school. She had nosebleed early this morning. Again about 4 PM and again about 9 PM. Mama down to Ferns today. I cleaned up the two spare bedrooms today. Got a letter from Dorothea and Dennis.

Thursday, October 31, 1957

I began cleaning in the kitchen, did some cupboards. Betty came home with Dawn tonight. Got her clothes and went back up to stay all night, for a Halloween party. Billie and Chet came down with water today from Abbotts.
