Friday, November 1, 1957 RAIN
Cloudy damp day. I cleaned rest of the kitchen, washed the
curtains and ironed them and put them back up in evening. Went to town after Bill
got home. Bill and Billie got some water tonight. Betty is home tonight.
Saturday, November 2, 1957
Another rainy day and awful hard all night. Bill home all
day. I worked all day. Raymond called also Kennard.
Sunday, November 3, 1957 RAIN
Another rainy day. Kennie and Dot here for dinner. Bill and
Billie fixed up the molasses barrel. Lila and Bill over to aunt Linnie for weekend.
Donnie okay. Betty better awful cough. Second Sputnik went up today with a dog
in it from Russia.
Monday, November 4, 1957
Cloudy and some rain. I did a big wash. Bill put up a light
in the hallway. We bought jacket for Betty. Mrs. Ayers called tonight. Raymond
Leavitt called tonight.
