Sunday, December 29, 1957
Milan and family left at about 11 AM. We had a fried ham
dinner. In p.m. Betty and Susan went down and rode Old Fan. In evening Rayburn,
Joan, Karen called, also Bob and Blanche, Kennard and Dolores.
Monday, December 30, 1957 Bill 49 today
A nice day. Done up the work. Es and Cliff up to Dot and Forrests
in p.m. Billie and Susan home with us. In evening at supper had a birthday cake
and ice cream. After supper Fern, Lloyd, Uncle Os, Ken, Dolores, Kennie and Dot
called to say goodbye to Deming’s.
Tuesday, December 31, 1957 Warm
The Deming’s left at 11:45 AM today for Brud and Verna’s (?)
home. Hated to see them leave. We had enjoyed them all so much since they have
been here. Susan and Billie are so cute. Bill didn’t work. In p.m. we put
Donnie’s bed and crib upstairs. It looks so lonesome with Donnie’s bed gone.
Cleaned up the whole house this p.m. Betty down to Dawn’s in p.m. and evening.
Billie up to Chet’s in evening. End of 1957.
