Cloudy. Susan stayed down to Fern and Lloyd’s last night.
Fern making her some dresses for her doll. In a.m. we took out the Christmas
tree.
Friday, December 27, 1957
A nice day, quite windy. I went to Norway and finished
paying for chair. I came home, did up the housework, washed. Made up the bed
for Milan’s folks. Cleaned up the house, got Billie supper. Esther, Cliff and
Susan down to Ferns all day. We cared for little Billie. Dorothea’s box came
today. Bill got home from his first weeks work tonight since he got through
over to Jim’s.
Saturday, December 28, 1957
A good day. Billie and I went up to Kennard’s to built the
fire. Came home, done up some more work. Esther washed dishes, ironed. Cliff
and Betty Crook down town to get snaps. I made rolls. In p.m. Verna, Brud,
Jeff, Nola, Mrs. Nevers, Dawn Parks, Kennard, Dolores called. At supper there
were 12 of us. After supper Cliff, Esther, Bill and Betty went down to Georgia
and Thena’s. Milan, Betty and Bill went to Thomaston. Norma Gay here all day. Es,
Cliff and baby called at Raymonds.
