Tuesday, December 24, 1957
A very nice day. I cooked. Es, Cliff, Susan, Billie and
Betty all went to town and called on Fern. In evening Blanche, Bob, Joy and
Ronald here last evening.
Wednesday, December 25, 1957 Dorothea called
Christmas day. Esther and family here for dinner. We had a
nice Christmas and a good time. Dinner turkey, roast pork, mashed potatoes,
turnip, onions, celery, pickles, olives, salad, rolls, graham nut bread. Date
filled, apple, custard, lemon sponge pies, tarts, cookies, sponge cake and
chocolate Angel cake. Ice cream, coffee, tea and Kool aid. Deming family,
Kennard, Fern, Lloyd, Kennie and Dot, Bob, Blanche, Aunt Ava and Uncle Lewis,
Phonie, Sis, Wanda Jean, Bill, Lila, George and Thena. All had good time and
lot of nice gifts.
