A very nice morning. Billie had to work haying. Betty and Kay to church. Delores called early this a.m. It cloudd up this forenoon. Kids down to Jill’s in p.m., birthday party for Jill.

Monday, August 27, 1956

A very nice day. I did a big wash. Donnie is better.

Tuesday, August 28, 1956

Another nice day. I ironed and done some cooking. Billie home early.

Wednesday, August 29, 1956

Cloudy. Billie home, he and Betty put up the fence. Got cows into field. I cleaned up the whole house. Cooked, had chicken for supper and rolls.

Thursday, August 30, 1956

Clouded up. Rain in p.m. Bill came home. I cooked, cleaned up the house. Edith called tonight. She had just talked with Judy. She is going to Nebraska for her new base, Dorothea is going to March A. F. B. California.
