A rainy day. In a.m. went
down to Edith’s and done errand or two. Got rinse for my hair. In p.m. Betty
and I moved her into Dorothea’s room. Bill home all day. Got letter from
Dorothea today. Donnie came down sick again today.
Saturday, September 1, 1956
Donnie quite sick all day.
In a.m. Bill and I went downtown to do the shopping. Mama up to Kennard’s all
day. Holly here in a.m. In p.m. I did all the work, cooked, washed and cleaned
up the house. In evening we took Donnie to Dr. Skilling’s. Also Fern and Lloyd called. Rained all day.
Sunday, September 2, 1956
Rained all day. Bill worked
at Lloyds. Mama down to Fern’s for the day. Donnie very bad all days. Dr. Skilling’s
came to see him. He wanted him to go to hospital tonight, but his folks
couldn’t come for him tonight. Thundershowers in late p.m. Ronald and girl
friend called.
