Washed, kind of cloudy. Got the clothes in.

It rained hard all day. I had my permanent in forenoon. In p.m. went to Sarah Taylor’s and Norman Littlefield’s wedding at Ferns. A very pretty wedding.

Wednesday, August 11, 1954

I ironed. Pick some blueberries and peas today.

Thursday, August 12, 1954

Fair. Awful Ken Mayer’s birthday today. Been to work for WBZ just three years today. I washed. Made a pie, went to town with Bill today and over to Harrison.

Friday, August 13, 1954

Very good day. Mowed lawns, ironed. Betty and Bill fixed the pen for geese. Cleaned up the barn etc. Over to Aunt Linnie’s in evening. Dorothea, Barbara and Philip called. Dot and Lorraine brought up some blueberries then in evening Kennie and Dot brought up some.
