Mowed lawns.
Thursday, August 5, 1954
Finished mowing lawns. Billie had Paul Hodsdon help him get
the hay up to Bob’s. Dorothea home for tonight and tomorrow. Milan’s folks came
in the night from a trip to northern Maine.
Friday, August 6, 1954
I washed, iron. Milan folks took kids off riding in the
boats and a plane. Also they went horseback riding. Clear and nice today.
Saturday, August 7, 1954
Pretty good day. Went to town in p.m. Kennard up for supper
and Milan’s folks.
Sunday, August 8, 1954
Milan’s folks left for home at 6 this morning. I had a nice
birthday. Got $5 in money, oilcloth for table, pantyhose and a box of
chocolates (very good), also a nice steam iron and cards.
