Saturday, August 14, 1954

Picked over and froze five boxes of blueberries Dot and Kennie brought up. Fern, Lloyd and Kennard up in evening.



Sunday, August 15, 1954

Froze some Swiss chard and did the work. They put in two loads of hay.



Monday, August 16, 1954

Fair most of day, quite warm, cloudy with showers in late p.m. I washed. Froze some shell beans and peas. Sent a M. O. of $16 to Sears today.



Tuesday, August 17, 1954

Nice clear day, Windy. Have ironed, went up to call on Amy and Pat to see the baby Faye Ann.



Wednesday, August 18, 1954

Nice day. Washed, cooked etc. Over to Aunt Linnie’s in evening.



Thursday, August 19, 1954

Been cloudy. I have ironed, picked peas, been busy all day. Dorothea came home tonight.



Friday, August 20, 1954

Dorothea here all day. She cleaned up the house, I washed, ironed, picked peas and helped cook. Billie and Paul worked on fence. Raymond, Paul Hodsdon.
