Bill and I went to town. We washed in p.m. Both children at school today.

I ironed. Cooked.

Wednesday, April 5, 1944

Blanche came up to get Joy’s crib. Her mother is up to her house with broken leg. Rachel Cross came with her.

Thursday, April 6, 1944

Bill and I went to town. Billie home sick. Washed and ironed. Bea L. brother seriously wounded in the war. 

Friday, April 7, 1944

Went up to Minnie’s in p.m.  Both kids went to school. Cleaned up the house.
