Bill and Dorothea went to town. Billie and I moved the stove out. It is snowing this P.M. turned to rain. Billie had a new jacket come.

BETTY WALKED a few steps. Bob and Joy came up . Bill trimmed the apple trees. Kennie and Dot came up. Bill raked the door yard. Ilan's folks moved into their house.

Washed. Both kids at school. Bill went to work.

I cleaned shed chamber. Cold.

It snowed. Cold.
Thursday, April 13, 1944
Cold and windy. Bill and I went to town. Mrs. Otis died.
Friday, April 14, 1944
Laurence Howard hauled slabs. $9.00. Bill and I went out of town today. Ash hot for fourth continual nite. A very cold day.
