I washed and ironed, made a blueberry pie. Very hot day.
Kennard’s trial $100 fine $15 cost of court. Lost his license for year.
Tuesday, July 19, 1955
Another hot day. Made out an order for Mama. Terrie Moffitt
here for day. Bill mowed grass up alongside of road tonight.
Wednesday, July 20, 1955
I churned. Cleaned up the house, cooked.
Thursday, July 21, 1955
Did some more cooking. Came off awful hot again today.
Friday, July 22, 1955
Dorothea here all day. She wrote letters. I did a big
washing and ironing.

Hot. Done up some housework. Went to town in early p.m.
Larry Potter brought over the raspberries we froze them. Over to Jim’s tonight,
got corn, greens and other veg. Aunt Ava got another dog today.
