Joy here all day. We did regular work. Bill still lame. Called
at Jean and Jack’s in eve. Jim Halket married.
Sunday, March 7, 1948
A long stormy day. We took Joy home. She was homesick. Bill
and I called at Uncle Sulmore’s.
Monday, March 8, 1948
Blanche came home today. Bill’s foot not so good.
Tuesday, March 9, 1948
Bill’s foot better. He went up to get pickerel today. I
ironed. Nice day. Kennie in Portland tonight to a plumbers meeting.
Wednesday, March 10, 1948
Nice warm day. Bill, Betty and I down to his father’s. Delores
called on Mama in p.m.
Thursday, March 11, 1948
Mama in bed with a cold. Kennard called. I washed. Washed
baby clothes. It has snowed today. Bad weather.
Friday, March 12, 1948
Dorothea stayed down for scouts.
