A very cold windy day. Bill and I went to town in eve and
down to Jean’s.
Sunday, April 4, 1948
Still some cold. Bill’s father and mother here all day. We
took them for a little ride. Aunt Ava and Uncle Lewis called in p.m.
Monday, April 5, 1948
A very nice day. We washed, put the machine out in shed.
Tuesday, April 6, 1948
A rainy day. Bill, Betty and I called at Roland Howards,
Dutch Pikes, and downtown. Billie got his Red Durham steers from Cark Warren.
Wednesday, April 7, 1948
Betty and I cleaned the shed chamber. A very nice day.
Girls, Bill and I call at Jean’s in eve.
Thursday, April 8, 1948
I washed. Cold and cloudy. Sylvia went today to Hebron. I
washed. Bill worked all day.
Friday, April 9, 1948
Clear, cold and windy. Awful cold all day.
