Nice day. Bill home all day and they hauled the rest of the
hay. Rayburn here. Ed Davis came here today to board. Jackie’s birthday.

Hot day. Billie worked at Lloyd’s. Bill worked in berries.
Blyn Davis called this a.m. Betty down to Ferns. Dorothea and Sara to movies.
Sara here for dinner.
Monday, July 28, 1947
Showers. We washed. Bobby got burned. Godden and Sally
called. Shafer came up for milk.

Goden mowed hay. Here for dinner.

Bill home and hayed.

Haying.
Friday, August 1, 1947
Our chicks were all dead this morning. Set a trap and got a
fox. Finished up our haying.
