Hot. Cleaned up the house. Bought a bushel peaches at A
& P for $3.69 Went to town with Kennard’s folks. Fred Emery and Edmund Otis
called to see Ed Davis.

Hot. Dr. Mabry came to see Ed.
Monday, August 11, 1947
Dr. Mabry took Ed Davis to hospital. Bill home lame. Billie
home sick.
Tuesday, August 12, 1947
Hot. Canned peaches 15 ½. Dorothy Allen called. Bill and
Billie home sick. Hot.
Wednesday, August 13, 1947
Very hot. I picked blueberries. Bill and Billie back to
work.
Thursday, August 14, 1947
Very hot. I picked blueberries. We ate out back tonight.
Blyn called. Dorothea over to Woods Pond on picnic with Blanche and Ruth.
Friday, August 15, 1947
Very hot. Showers cooled off in late p.m. We washed. Canned
string beans and picked peas.
