Saturday, February 6, 1971

Bill worked today. Plowing snow etc. Billie cleaned up snow in the yard. I baked beans, made rolls etc.

Sunday, February 7, 1971

I done up regular work, took a bath. Fern, Lloyd called a minute. Bill worked most all day. We all went to Betty’s in p.m. for Carmen’s birthday. Delores, Es, Cliff, Susan, Billie, Vince, Chris, Fern, Lloyd, Dorothea, Joy, Jeff, Debbie, Laurie and Kathy. Bill, Billie and me. Missed Aunt Ava.

Monday, February 8, 1971

Snow and cold and some sleeting rain. We didn’t go over to Aunt Ava’s because of the storm. Esther went over to do some things. I cleaned up the house, washed windows, washed floors, ironed etc.

Tuesday, February 9, 1971

A nice day. It was a mild day. We worked at Aunt Ava’s. We got rest of things down from the shed and picked them over. Astronauts landed back today after another successful trip on to the moon.
