12 below. Very cold. We worked at Aunt Ava’s again, dishes, bathroom, draws, cupboards etc. Betty, Fern, Es and I. Cliff did some things to help us. We got the trunks in. What a lot we found in them, dishes, linens, keepsakes etc. Ken and Dolores called. We had a pretty good time.

Wednesday, February 3, 1971 30 below

We did some more work at Aunt Ava’s. Had Sally come up to look at some of the things we had etc. Margaret and her sister came to. Found some pretty dishes upstairs. 300 years old a couple pieces.

Thursday, February 4, 1971 25 below

Today we cleaned the shed chamber. What a mess. Sal and sister both were there. We hauled a lot of mess to the dump. We found a lot of pretty dishes up there.

Friday, February 5, 1971 Carmen 8 years today

Very cold today. Over to Aunt Ava picking over etc. Picked over papers etc. Celebrated her day on Sunday 7^th.
