Thursday, July 23, 1970 HOT HOT HOT

Very hot day. Real cool morning when we got up. During day got very hot. Betty, Esther, Susan and I down to Susan’s apartment and cleaned it. Got a few things moved in. Es, Sue and Vince up to the house for supper. Went down to see Susan’s apartment after supper. Billie, Es and I, Sue, Vince and Betty, Walt and kids. Stanley came home from hospital after six weeks stay at NCMH.

Friday, July 24, 1970

Another hot day. I done up my work. Down to Betty’s to stay with kids while she, Susan and Esther went to town shopping.

Saturday, July 25, 1970 Another awful hot one

Didn’t do too much. I baked beans. Had cukes some our garden. Billie and Billie worked in garden. Bill and I called at Jean’s to see Stan. He is coming okay. Stopped at Lawrence’s, got frankfurts. Es and Cliff helping Susan.

Didn’t do too much, relaxed. Called at George and Thena’s with Cliff and Horton’s.
