Clear and cooler today. Humidity is all gone. I worked at
Dorothy’s today. Betty washed. I came home, done some odds and end jobs, we had
supper. Bill still home. Jim called today to see Bill. Gilly called tonight.
Bill and Walt played darts. Carmen down with the kids riding bikes. Betty and I
over to Aunt Ava’s to get Fern. She spent afternoon and evening with her.
Thursday, August 21, 1969
Bill back to work. We went to Portland to Dr. Crane. Kim’s
arm is coming okay.
Friday, August 22, 1969 $5.00
I worked at Dorothy’s. We went to town. Betty washed and
done up all the housework. I did the shopping.
Saturday, August 23, 1969
I baked beans. Betty and Walt over to Joy and Buddy’s. Joy
called here. Fern up for supper.
