Tuesday, April 29, 1969

A fair day. We went to Fryeburg looking for some shrubbery. Went down to Brownfield, got some Italian sandwiches. Out looking for a place for them to live. We did some ironing and regular work. Very mild then turned cooler.

Wednesday, April 30, 1969

A fair day, not too cold. Betty and I went shopping and got ingredients for the spaghetti dinner. Came home, Betty worked all p.m. on the spaghetti dinner. Made cookies. I done up the housework. Washed blankets. Kids have been good. Bill got his vacation pay and cut.

Thursday, May 1, 1969

Washed. Cooked a roast pork supper. I made a pie. We did up regular work. Esther called on the phone just to talk. They are all well, the baby Vince is real good, very cunning.

Friday, May 2, 1969 $4.50

A nice day but kind of cold. I worked at Dorothy’s. In p.m. Betty and I to town shopping. In evening Betty and Walt down to Ferns to watch ballgame on colored TV. Bill got his full-time paycheck tonight. He will work until Wednesday to see if he gets a full week again.
