Monday, November 25, 1968
Cloudy, warm this morning. I got
up, got ready to go over to Aunt Ava’s. She came over and got Kim and I about 8:30.
I helped to do her washing. I came home, did my washing. Got supper etc. Kim
was so good over there. Esther left Betty and Walt’s tonight for her home. She
had a good time. They all went up to Brud’s for supper.
Tuesday, November 26, 1968
A very nice day. I did some of my
cooking. Cleaned up the house and ironed. Kim is so good. Betty called. Very
windy all last night and this forenoon.
Wednesday, November 27, 1968
I cooked, cleaned up the house
and made preparations for tomorrow. Betty and family came tonight. Kim had a
nap today. Carmen had asthma when she got here.
Thursday, November 28, 1968
THANKSGIVING
Clear in early a.m. than it
clouded up. It rained in late p.m. We had a nice dinner and a good time. Betty,
Walt, Carmen, Kimberly, and Aunt Ava was our guests for dinner. Turkey, gravy,
stuffing, mashed potatoes, turnip, onions, shell beans, celery, relish, salad.
Hot rolls, graham nut bread, cranberry sauce, suet pudding, date filled pie.
Blueberry pie, cookies, cake, ice cream and coffee.
