Thursday, November 21, 1968
A beautiful day. Esther, Fern and
I left at 7 AM I went to Dorothea’s and then we all went to Joy’s at Topsham.
We had a very good time and all liked their new home very much. Came home at
about four, had supper of pork chops etc. Esther and Fern enjoyed it very much.
Fern and Esther went home early in evening tired. We went to bed early. Took
Billie’s car.
Friday, November 22, 1968
Cloudy and snow flurries this
morning. I worked at Prescott’s, came home, got a good roast pork supper.
Esther and Fern here. They enjoyed the supper so much. Esther is dreading going
home. She is so home sick at times way out there.
Saturday, November 23, 1968
Got up, it was clear this a.m.
but it began to cloud up and get hazy. Bill came home and we got ready to go to
Concord New Hampshire to take Esther up to stay with Betty and family till
Monday. We got up there about 3:20, left here at 12:50.
Sunday, November 24, 1968
A nice mild day, got up early,
got breakfast. Bill and I left Betty’s about 9:30 AM. Got home here about 11:30.
Kimberly came with us. I done regular work. Fern and Lloyd called. Fern tired.
Esther hated to go home so bad.
