Another beautiful day. I did my regular work, ironed and mended. I didn’t talk with Betty today. I hope she is all right. Last night Norman and Barbara Stanford called. Quite a few birds around today. I called Dorothea.

Wednesday, January 22, 1969

I did up my work. Cooked a dite. Dolores called in PM a little while. I picked over some things in the closet.

Thursday, January 23, 1969

A nice day. I cleaned up the house. In evening I called at Aunt Ava’s while Billie got haircut.

Friday, January 24, 1969

Cloudy. I done up my work. Worked at Dorothy’s. Came home, did a little washing. Got my store list ready etc. Billie took me to town after supper. It was a rainy day but very mild.
