Mild temperatures. Betty came about 10 o’clock to get the kids. Kim is real cute. Betty and I to town today. She got herself some Italian sandwiches. She had to leave to go home about three. 

Saturday, January 18, 1969

A nasty day. Snowed, rain and more snow. Billie had to work at Raymond today. In p.m. we went down to Kezar Falls to Stacey’s Dairy to get some butter. Kennard and Delores went with us. They enjoyed it very much. Gordon called a little while today. He took the chest of draws home.

Sunday, January 19, 1969

A nice sunny day. Bill called to work at 7:30 AM, worked about a couple or three hours. Aunt Ava here for the day and dinner. She enjoyed her visit. Fern and Lloyd called in eve.

Monday, January 20, 1969

A beautiful day, sunny, mild and the clothes dried as well as they do in the summer. Dorothea called to see me today. I talked with Betty in p.m. I watched the inaugural on TV today. Pres. Nixon’s speech was very good. I wish him the best of luck in the next few years.
