Mild rain and fog. Billie and I over to Norway and finished up the Christmas shopping. A dreary day, rain and fog.

Sunday, December 15, 1968 Mild

A bad miserable day. Very hard rain all day, Northeast. It let up in late p.m. Billie went out and got the Christmas tree. I wrote letters. Bill read. Bill called to work about 8 PM. In late p.m. we get some snow. Also there was a thunderstorm reported. I wrapped a few gifts.

Monday, December 16, 1968

Cold. Kind of cloudy. I washed, wrapped Christmas packages. Bill got a $20 check from Jean for his Christmas. Billie lame tonight. Been snow flurries, cloudy and clear. Bill worked until about 2 AM this morning. We got the tree in tonight.

Tuesday, December 17, 1968 OIL

Cold, 10 above. I went to Norway with Fern and Lloyd, a nice morning. I get a few groceries and other things. Came home, wrapped things. I worked on the Christmas tree. It looked very pretty all decorated. I got a five dollars check from Mrs. Dearborn.
