A nice cool breezy day. I did regular work. Cleaned the outside of deep-freeze. Did some figuring etc. Fern, Lloyd called. I called some on phone 2 calls.

Wednesday, July 24, 1968

We are having very nice summer weather. I have washed windows, getting the house straightened out for company.

Thursday, July 25, 1968

I worked at Dorothy Prescott’s today. I cleaned her house and the general weekend cleaning while she works at Smith Sign. I came home, did my work and began getting ready for Milan’s folks this weekend. Also expect Betty and family. $4.50

Friday, July 26, 1968

A very nice day. I worked at Dearborn’s. Came home, finished cleaning up rest of my house. Bill mowed grass. Billie took me to town. When we got home Betty, Walt and kids were here.
