July 19 - 22, 1968

Friday, July 19, 1968 MUGGY

The worst hottest day of all, the humidity is so heavy it’s hazy. Humidity is awful. I worked at Mrs. Dearborn’s today. Came home, washed and finished my housework. Bill went to work at 5 AM, home at 2:30 because of the extreme heat.

Saturday, July 20, 1968

A nice day, breeze good all day. Billie and I picked peas. Bill painted. We also picked cukes. Fern up for supper. She and I shelled peas. It got real cool. I put a rinse on my hair. Bill and I to town.

Monday, July 22, 1968 a nice day

A very nice day. I went to town first thing with Fern and Lloyd. I came home, did my wash and regular work. In evening Mr. and Mrs. Doney called also Norm and Barbara Stanford. Billie picked a lot of cukes and some peas.
