Saturday, August 24, 1968
A fair day, but warmer today. I did up my work. Took care of
the stock. Lloyd came, got the trash to haul off. Joy brought Cathy over for me
to take care. Was planning to go places. Bill over to Norway to get grain.
Sunday, August 25, 1968
Bill and I had breakfast, did up the work. Then we went for
a ride. He worked outside painting in a.m. It seems odd to be alone.
Monday, August 26, 1968 $23.84
Very nice day. I washed. Mr. Drew called and paid me. Also
brought up their washing and took the clean ones home. I called on the phone
and talked. Got vegetables out of the garden. Billie had a good time at the
fair, got home last night.
Tuesday, August 27, 1968
A pretty good day. I rushed around, done up my work. Got
ready, went down to Dorothea’s with Joy while she went (Joy) to Bradlee’s to do
some school shopping.
